Post-Earthquake Inclusive Urban Recovery – Functional Assessments and Investment Priorities reports of RESLOG were shared with high-level representatives of national and international organizations.

On 29th February, RESLOG Türkiye came together with 115 high level representatives from 40 different national and international organisations in Ankara, Türkiye. The purpose was to share the continuous needs of earthquake affected municipalities.

11 pilot municipalities of RESLOG’s earthquake response, presented their city reports with 68 investment proposals which were prioritized as a result of comprehensive, inclusive and participatory social service infrastructure and urban functionality assessments.

These City Reports stand out as one of the most comprehensive studies reflecting the needs of local governments in the post-earthquake period, prepared with the participation of a total of 1677 people from Adana Metropolitan Municipality, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, İskenderun Municipality, Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, Kilis Municipality, Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, Mezitli Municipality, Osmaniye Municipality, Reyhanlı Municipality, Şahinbey Municipality and Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality.

RESLOG aims to ensure that Functional Assessments, an adaptation of RESLOG’s resilience assessment methodology, will form a basis for medium and long-term recovery works to be planned for the earthquake affected region. City Reports prepared within this framework present investment-ready, data-driven, confimed project proposals.
